BIO
K Sarrantonio is a genderqueer visual artist who uses printmaking and video projection to represent aspects of queer domesticity and contemplate the gendering of the body. Born in the Hudson Valley, K lives and works in Brooklyn. They have attended residencies at Signal Fire Arts (2017), Vermont Studio Center (2018), Lacawac LGBTQ Artist Residency (2018), Crosstown Arts (2019), Kimmel Harding Nelson Center (2019), McColl Center (2022), and Women’s Studio Workshop (2022). They have exhibited across the United States and their work can be found in the permanent collection of the RISD Museum as part of the 2017 Prints for Protest Portfolio. They received an MFA from Rhode Island School of Design and a BA from Hampshire College.
